OUR BIG MOVE

The last few weeks of my family’s lives has been a whirlwind. Last Thursday we closed on the sale of our longtime home in Wanamassa and later that afternoon we purchased our new home nearby in the Colonial Terrace section of Ocean Township. I can say with 100% certainty that a double closing is not for the faint of heart. I can also say without a shadow of a doubt that this will be the biggest learning experience of my real estate career. I will have much more empathy for both my buyers and my listing clients having gone through this experience personally. I always knew the intimate nature of buying and selling a home but having experienced it firsthand has really made my understanding of it that much clearer. It’s a unique challenge for anyone or any family. If we weren’t able to rely on trusted professionals to guide us throughout we would’ve never been able to make it happen.

 

As hectic as life has been I wouldn’t want it any other way. We are excited about the opportunity to make our new home our own and love the quiet of our new neighborhood. Our neighbors have been very welcoming and we look forward to getting to know all of them over the years.

We also look forward to hosting many gatherings, entertaining many guests and creating amazing memories in our new home. In the meantime we have a lot of work to do. But we are very fortunate. And we look forward to a bright future our new home.
