Launching a website

My new website, scotthobbsrealtor.com, is live!

I’ve wanted to launch a website for my business since I started as a realtor more than 5 years ago. But since I was going to put my name on it, it had to be more than just a landing page. That’s the biggest reason I’ve waited until now. 

 ‘scotthobbsrealtor.com’ will feature my blog with regular updates, featured listings and video posts with market updates, buyer and seller tips as well as other topical real estate content and more.

This has been a very personal undertaking and real estate is a very personal business, so I felt it was important to share my story and how I do business. This has been one of the primary focuses of my website.

When people ask me how I differentiate myself as a realtor my answer is usually the same, “By being my authentic self. I am always going to be honest, direct and forthcoming. I will give my opinion. But at the end of the day it’s not my property and it’s the client, seller or buyer, who makes the final decisions.”

The website is a work in progress and will be constantly evolving, but we’re ready to share it with the public and are proud of the work we’ve done.

I say “we” because I would have never been able to pull this off without my associate, Rhendel del Rosario. I hired Rhendel about 2 months ago and he’s been, and will continue to be, a huge resource for me to tap into as I continue to grow my business. As many of you have noted to me personally, my business has really taken off since making the move to Salt + Cedar Properties. Now that I’m surrounded by like-minded, trustworthy people, like Rhendel and my partners at S+C I have no doubt that the future is very bright.

I look forward to everyone’s feedback and hope you enjoy the site as much as we enjoyed putting it together. It was certainly a labor of love.
